August is Grief Awareness Month

The Sugar Creek Church of Christ members and the Healing Hearts Ministry extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of Sister Ethel Rivers, who peacefully transitioned at the age of 96.

We give thanks for her long life, faithful presence, and the many memories she leaves behind within the Sugar Creek Church of Christ family. May God’s comfort, peace, and strength surround all who mourn her passing.

Remembering George Roberts

Sugar Creek is holding the family of George Roberts in love and prayer after his passing on March 8, 2026. Brother Roberts attended Sugar Creek in the early 2000s and also attended recently in November 2025. After his health began to decline, he moved out of the area to be cared for by his loving daughter. Funeral services for Brother Roberts will be held on Friday, March 20. Viewing will be held at 11:00 am, and the services will begin at Noon.

Condolences to the Brewer Family

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear brother, Eddie Brewer. Please keep his wife, Deb, and the rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers. Services for our brother will be held on Saturday, February 21, at Sugar Creek Church of Christ. The viewing will be held from 12 - 1 pm, and the funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. The repass will be held immediately after the services next door in the David T. Sympathy to the Family of Ida Hall

Ida Mae Glover Hall is the mother of our dear sister, Regina Smith. Let us extend our deepest sympathy to the Smith family in their loss. Both Mike and Regina have lost their mothers this year. Let us embrace them and give them shoulders to lean on during such a challenging period for their families.
